Product Description

TENS EMS Therapy Banner by iReliev

There are 14 pre-set therapy modes that combine both TENS and EMS.

TENS modes P1-P7 vary in pulse width and frequency. Comfortable impulses can help block acute and chronic symptoms of muscle, joint and back pain. TENS P8 is known as the arthritis mode, which helps provide symptomatic relief of chronic pain associated with arthritis.

EMS modes P1-P6 stimulate muscle endurance, recovery and strength through muscle contraction and release, increasing anaerobic capacity and capillary supply.

TENS UNIT + EMS Therapy Program Guide

You can use two or four small electrode pads or one or two large pads with iReliev, model ET-7070. This type of TENS + EMS unit is referred to as dual channel, giving you a tremendous amount of flexibility in one device.

The overall output intensity that iReliev offers is remarkable for a TENS device the footprint of a credit card. With 25 intensity levels, you have enough variation from level to level to pin point just the right intensity for both acute and chronic pain symptoms.

It should be noted, that the number of intensity levels doesn’t make a TENS machine more powerful, that’s determined by the machines overall output intensity which is measured in mA. The iReliev TENS Pain Relief System offer 80mA of output power.

TENS EMS Combo Muscle StimulatoriReliev (Model # ET-7070) is powered by (3) AAA batteries. The initial three are provided as part of the system. The battery levels are indicated in upper middle quadrant of the LCD screen. This feature is extremely useful.TENS EMS Combo Muscle Stimulator
The unit itself is not rechargeable, however the battery life has been maximized to last up to 15 hours with and intensity of 7 on P3 Mode. Varying modes as well higher intensities may deplete batteries quicker.

With high quality batteries you can expect to get around 15 hours use out of them before requiring replacement. If you have a 30 minute treatment each day you’d be looking at around 30 sessions per set.

TENS EMS Combo Muscle StimulatorAt nearly the footprint of a credit card (3.5″ x 2″), iReliev is highly portable for therapy on the go, in your home and just walking around. Fits
easily in your pocket, handbag or waistband with included easy draw belt clip holster that allows you even greater portability while on the go.
With the iReliev quick-draw holster clip, you can easily remove and replace iReliev to adjust intensity, timer and/or therapy mode without having to un-clip from your waistband. iReliev was designed with ergonomics in mind to be operated with one hand control.

Everything you need to get started is included in the iReliev TENS Pain Relief System. Additional batteries and electrode pads can be purchased at checkout

TENS EMS Unit Combo Muscle Stimulator Quick Start Guide
TENS Unit EMS Combo Muscle Stimulator

What is the difference between Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS) and Electrical Muscle Stimulation (EMS)?

TENS sends low voltage electrical impulses through the skin to block the body’s nerve pathways that indicate pain an stimulate endorphins (the “feel good” chemical in your brain.”)

Electrical muscle stimulation (EMS), also known as neuromuscular electrical stimulation (NMES), is the elicitation of muscle contraction using electrical impulses. EMS is receiving increased attention in the last few years because of its potential to serve as a strength training tool for healthy people and athletes, as rehabilitation  modality and a post-exercise recovery tool for atheletes.

How does iReliev’s TENS EMS Unit help reduce pain?

iReliev works by producing electrical pulses that block the body’s pain signal to your brain, thus the pain symptoms you feel. TENS has also been shown in clinical studies to encourage the body to release its own natural pain relieving endorphins sometime referred to as the bodies “feel good chemical.”

How long can iReliev TENS and/or be used in a day?

Therapy Sessions can last 60 minutes or less. You can use iReliev for consecutive 60-minute sessions according to your pain relief needs when used in accordance with User Manual.

How much does iReliev cost?

iReliev offers a family of electrotherapy products to fit any budget ranging from $29.99 to $89.99. Our most popular product is model ET-1313 Dual Channel TENS for $49.95.

Can I adjust the intensity?

Yes, since pain is subjective, all iReliev devices provide adjustable intensity allowing you to customize your therapy as to whatever feels comfortable for you.

Do iReliev Products require a Doctor’s prescription (RX)?

Nope. All iReliev devices are FDA cleared Over the Counter (OTC) devices.

Can I use iReliev TENS be used in conjunction with topical pain rubs or gels?

Topical pain creams, rubs or gels can be used before or after the use of iReliev TENS and/or EMS. Please note, topical pain creams should not be applied to the site of pain immediately before applying the iReliev electrode pad and TENS or EMS therapy. Applying topical pain rubs in combination with the iReliev electrode pads may damage the electrode pad and prevent you from experiencing optimal electrotherapy results.

Can I replace the battery?

Yes, all iReliev device require use of AAA batteries with the exception of the Pain Relief Patch. That requires CR2032 style battery.

Can I use iReliev if I have a pacemaker?

No. iReliev should not to be used if you have a pacemaker, defibrillator, or any implanted electronic device. Also should not be used if you have any implanted medical devices containing metal.

Can I use iReliev while pregnant?

Do not use during pregnancy or if you think you might be pregnant.

How many times can electrodes pad be worn?

The durability of iReliev electrodes depends entirely on the application, storage, humidity and care on the part of the person using. In the event, all conditions are perfect, we estimate 20-30 twenty minute sessions per pad. See electrodes for more information on application, care and storage
